The historic Zografeio Lyceum in Constantinople (Istanbul), a beacon of Education and Culture with 132 years of history closely intertwined with the roots of Hellenism, has been renovated and reinforced against earthquakes with the support of the Hellenic Bank Association. The video was screened during the inauguration ceremony of the newly renovated historic building.
“The joy and emotion we feel today, here at the historic Zografeio Lyceum, exceed the financial value of any donation,” stated Mr. Gikas Hardouvelis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Bank Association, and added:
“It is an honor for all Greek banks that you allowed us to make our own contribution, helping breathe new life into a school—a beacon of Education and Culture—that boasts 132 years of history intertwined with the roots of Hellenism.”
